As a melee sorc main for nearly a year I can sympathize with other classes attempting to play outside of the one-dimensional play style that these classes are built upon.

For melee Sorcerer its a combination of being too stat hungry and not having proper equipment available to make it work. The need to meet knowledge requirements for mem cap and spell cast speed alongside dex and agi to make the play-style manageable along with CD reduction and PDR makes it difficult to build.

  • Introduce new armor or make other armors available to sorc from other classes such as dryad mask or open sallet.
  • remove or rework the countless downsides of sorc perks where spell sculpting has CD increase or mana fold has spell cast reduction.
  • Increase base stats not related to foundational stats such as knowledge or will, increasing spell cast speed or readjusting to have 0% base CD Reduction

Bard is essentially stuck to 10 song and rapier as other weapon options are non viable with the perks available and charismatic performance is required to make bard viable in combat. The reinforced instruments perk and build is more of a meme build and hasn't had viability.

  • Make party maker a passive perk instead of active skill with a radius similar to other team benefiting passives.
  • Give reinforced instruments a small buff or straight up increase the damage the lute does as drums already hit hard and were nerfed for this reason a few months back.

Rogues are essentially strapped to hide as it's the easiest low risk high reward play-style. The new perks have added some variety and have drawn some players away from hide which is good.

  • Bringing hide down in power would aid to bring other play styles up.

Fighters and Barbs have been given no choice but to run high PDR and movement speed abilities which overshadows slayer fighter. Shield perks on fighter have become so lackluster no one seems to run them unless they also benefit the use of blocking with a weapon. Barb you're not running for anything else other than being best in class at everything and the class needs a blanket nerf regardless.

  • Buff shield related perks
  • Increase the max/min roll of armor and mag pen
  • Nerf the armor rating of some of the most popular options

Warlock there isn't much to say other than halberd BOC and the ability to wear plate is overshadowing anything else that you would otherwise play besides pure caster.

  • Bring down the power of Halberd and other plate changes mentioned above
  • Not much to do with the class but more with the balancing of weapons and armor

All other classes have equally appealing play-styles like cleric healer or smite, wizard caster or bonk with melt, Druid healer or shapeshift, and Ranger crossbow or bow of any type with new perks.

TLDR: I would like to see more variety in the dungeon and be able to be creative and successful with new builds.

Love the amount of QoL changes coming to the game and had a few more in mind.

- Customizable key binds for everything. Specifically ping and spell wheel deselect

- spell wheel deselect should be like ping wheel where center is remove selected spell instead of pressing middle mouse button. It removes a few more actions required to swing and block.

-Mechanics to de incentivize boss griefing. Potentially in arena design I like the new boss arena as there is some risk in trying to poke at someone bossing.

-fix long term existing bugs. Being a sorc player I know spell wheel bug has been an issue for a very long time and I’m sure there are others amongst other classes.

-Memory cap should get a rework and realistically shouldn’t exist. They changed and rather buffed the modifier to grant much more for randomly rolled men cap bonus but just do away with it and tie knowledge to cast speed and maybe rework what buffs are attached to will as it is perhaps too many.
