(United States/East Tennessee) Are these reedroot pigweed and waterhemp amaranth? The first one (1st three pics) is slightly fuzzy on the stems, with lobed leaves and a red taproot. The last two pics, what I believe may be waterhemp, has a smooth & purple stem, a white taproot, and tear shaped leaves. I admit, I have ate both already and felt fine. They had a nice bitter taste similar to mustard greens. They grow like crazy in my garden.
