Ship Out MEPS Concern

Hello everyone, when I went to MEPS for the first time months ago I was not allowed to initially swear in that day as I was not able to get my heart rate below 100 even after hours of retrying. That had never happened to me before, and I simply think I was just nervous about being there. I have always had a normal heart rate, even when working out or under stress. They sent me home and told me I would need a tachycardia waiver to prove it wasn’t a recurring issue or something due to an underlying problem. I went to the doctor, did all the waiver stuff, it got approved, and I got my job (SF)!!

However, I ship out mid July, and I feel great about everything except for the fact that I know they will be taking my HR again. I have been working on ways to regulate my breathing before and after taking my pulse, but I am worried that the nervousness will just get to me again, and my worst fear is getting sent home and completely disqualified on the day of ship out.

Has anyone gone through something like this before? Is there a way I can make sure they consider my prior MEPS experience/waiver so they know it’s not a real issue but just a in-the-moment nervousness thing? Thank you all!
