So, I've been working at a job for 3 years now. It has come to my attention that one of the senior employees (been here for about 10 years) is a registered sex offender. I'm not sure of the exact charge because i haven't looked it up yet, but I know it involves sex with a minor. My employer never disclosed this information to me. Furthermore, several of our employees are actually cooperative education students between the ages of 16 and 17. One of them found out and told the school, and then the school promptly pulled all their students from the program. Am I wrong in thinking that they should have had to disclose that information during the hiring process?
