▲ 3 r/Figs

Last week I noticed this brown powdery residue on my container bound Chicago hardy fig tree. it doesn’t look like traditional fig rust. But I can tell it’s killing my leaves. I sprayed some organic copper fungicide on it a few days ago just in case.

It’s early spring here in Michigan (6a), so I wouldn’t expect fungi so early in the year. I have it getting full sun under a semi- covered porch. I recently received this tree from Just Fruits and Exotics over a month ago, so maybe it came with the tree and I didn’t notice it?

Anyone have any thoughts/advice?? Should I move this tree away from my container blueberries/other plants? Thanks!
