In his lore, Khufra kills a clan of astrologers and destroys their town. He takes a girl, Eslora, as a prisoner of war. He adopts her, gives her a shelter, food, teaches her and eventually falls in love with her. Until Eslora banishes him from the world because of the threat he is.

Tldr; Khufra is a groomer and got owned by the girl he adopted

Theres nothing wrong with making lore with mature themes, but the way Khufra acts towards Esmeralda, Eslora's reincarnation, really ticks me off. He acts like a yearning ex husband who really misses his wife when he kidnapped and fell in love with her. And since Moonton already gave them a Valentine's they wont remake (Clint and Layla for example), i think a lore revamp is necessary

My idea:

Eslora and Khufra are childhood friends, where Eslora served him. The two grew up together and fell in love, and Khufra taught Eslora magic. Khufra became more and more dangerous to the world and Eslora decides to banish him.

They can also:

Make it so Esme is actually their descendant and not some reincarnation because ancient Egyptians don't believe in reincarnation. Change his voice lines about Esme to Eslora, and make the Valentine's skin Eslora
