Autism runs in my partner’s family and my partner himself is also autistic. I’m trying to understand more about the genetic link and the likelihood that a future child could be autistic. I know many autistic people live happy, full lives I’m just trying to better understand the hereditary side of it and hear real experiences.
For autistic parents, or for those with autistic partners/family members, did you have autistic or non-autistic children? How much did family history seem to play a role for you?
