I just got my new baby and I couldn’t be more excited!!!! Unfortunately as expected my resident cat is NOT HAPPY. I have kitty locked in the tv room and tried having them coexist for a little yesterday but this baby is just too confident and keeps pushing my cats boundaries. It also doesn’t help that she’s already larger than her at only four months old lol!!!

How did you guys get your cats to be safe in the same room??

UPDATE: I did a room swap to let them sniff each others spaces out. Kitten is totally fine, resident cat hissed, yowled, and scratched at anything she sniffed……so um. 😟
