Ranking repeats - Ekmiveda, Fablemane and aavrani
Have been trying all three products on and off in the US over last 12 months to help with overall scalp health and hair density
Ekmiveda Keshya Ankura Serum – 9/10.
Highly highly reccomend this one. Saw some content where it was the founder talking directly to customers who saw results and got sold. My longest running use so far. Super nice therapeutic side effect- I apply the Ekmiveda serum at night and leave it in and have a really good night's sleep! They went out of stock in the middle which stressed me out but now I'm well and fully stocked up. This one is the serum (but their hair oils is also pretty good, but I've tossed all those empties away). Super light and friendly and around week 5-6 the shedding in the shower and the pillow noticeably reduced. By month three my crown looked visibly fuller and I feel temples have filled in. Small gripe, the volume could be more but I think I really overuse it sometimes twice a day and hence run out. And at the very least everyday since it's easy to use. Hair oil and shampoo about 2-3 times a week and it helps with long term maintainence.
Fable & Mane Holiroots oil – 6/10
I actually like the Fable oil smell but that's kind of where it ends for me. After about 2-3 months usage I couldn't point to a real difference. I also find the fable and mane products a bit heavy for my hair and it's tough to get the oil out easily. It's decent for a one time use.
Aavrani scalp recovery Oil – 7.5/10
Was super excited about this and I love Lily Singhs reccos in general. I love everything amla (grew up using daburs amla hair oil). Avrani's amla formulation here is solid and my scalp felt less irritated and flaky within the first two weeks, which for the hard water here is saying something. But the texture is heavy, leaves residue, and I was burning through the bottle faster than expected. For the price point that really adds up and I might repurchase aavrani at like 50% of the price but not sure it’s worth it at the moment.
