Why my backhand is better with bad rackets

As a beginner penholder trying to get a feeling for rpb. I started playing shakehand try to get a sense of how backhand should be like. Since I dont have proper racket, I used the cheap one from decathlon(the plastic one with 2 topsheet) somehow I found out that my backhand got significantly better for rally and looping. I can even backhand flick when recieving a serve. Why is this happening? And should I switch grip since there aren't any coach teaching penhold in place where I live.

I went through the application process of paying student application on bme website. After I finished my exam, the email said that It would take weeks for them to finish academics review. Have anyone got any response? How long it is usually? I took mine last Friday.

How can I find consistency in penhold RPB? I tried tricks that YouTube taught me such as applying force with thumb and only forearm. But its still less consistant compared to shakehand style, and feels less comfortable.

About an year ago, I had a deal to purchase a second hand racket for like 60 dollar. The racket came with hurricane 3 neo national blue and tenergy 80. The blade is Dhs TG 506x. The only problem was the hurricane came with almost no stickiness, I can only maintain it for like an hr session after using a cleaner I found in China. Perhaps its time to replace a new one that last longer. Also when I apply the whole body technique for loops, the ball will go longer than the table if I hit with 50-70 percent of power. (maybe that's just a skill issue)

I am a intermediate penhold player that prefers forehand drive, mixing spin and flicks. occasionally rpb. Have trouble to return ball aggressively if it far from the table. I travel to China quite frequently, it is possible for me to decent deal even for expensive rubber 😄
