Hi! I could really use some help. I’m using a brother cs6000i. I’m sewing a duffel bag and I’m sewing the handles onto the main fabric. I’ve done this on multiple bags before with no issues now when sewing the bottom thread is intermittently not catching and creating very long stitches. I’ve done everything. I swapped the needle to 16/100, cleaned out the machine, rethreaded everything, made the tension higher, made the stitches longer. Nothing seems to help, and the bottom thread is not being caught and the top thread will become loose and dangly once sewing. With thin fabric it seems to be fine.
