I saw someone I knew was streaming and wanted to watch for a while and when I said hi I didn't see anything show up so I assumed there was a issue with their chat overlay, but then someone else chatted and it showed up on the overlay and they responded, I then went to another stream and the same thing happened there.

I have literally no clue what is happening and how to fix it, I saw some other people with problems similar to this turn off their VPN to solve it but I don't use one.

If anyone knows how to maybe help it would be greatly appreciated because I even tried chatting on my phone and it didn't work.
