The vintage 14k amethyst cable cuff arrived and I’m trying to figure out if it works with the current stack! I cleaned it up per the advice shared here (thanks to those that helped me on that!) and just trying to figure out whether this older style works with my more modern pieces. Still have a few days left on the return policy to figure it out! EDIT TO ASK: Would swapping out the amethyst for emerald cabochons freshen up the look of this?

Love this community of DY fans and appreciate your thoughts an any information here. Got a pretty good deal on this bracelet ($2k) which likely reflected the wear and patina/tarnish on this vintage 14k piece. Found a picture of the same one in excellent condition and wondering - is it possible to polish and/or refinish to look good again? If so, Is this something I should take to the DY store, or just a local jeweler? Thanks for your input!
