Huge bid - need your thoughts!
I am giving a bid in a few hours on 3 large county buildings. It’s a jail, highway building, and government building. I am not sure if I am able to handle the amount of work but want to at least look at it and bid. They are looking for 2x a year want bids for each building inside and out and then bids for just outside. Anyone have experience in these kind of commercial jobs? Thoughts on what to charge? Any tips? Thank you all in advance! I am newer to this work and don’t have water fed systems and no way to get to 3rd or 4th story windows.
They said they are not sure if the windows have ever been cleaned. I would be subcontracted to do the work. I am friends with the contractor and don’t want to hurt our relationship but this is a huge job and a lot of work. How much do I charge?
