All applicances needed: Bluestar, Thermador, Viking, Wolf, Kitchenaid?

Help me choose, please. We need all new appliances.

We’re looking at Bluestar, Thermador, Viking, or Wolf for 30” gas ranges and maybe Kitchenaid for dishwasher and side by side fridge. Open to other options, but professional style and less electronics the better.

Viking and Thermador have promotions going on. And they’re tempting.

Thermador Pro harmony has a promo of buy the range $5,700 and get an appliance - we’d get the dishwasher at a $1,400 savings

Viking you can get the 5 series range for $5,200 and get $1k rebate or another appliance. We’d probably get the dishwasher at a $2,200 savings.

Wolf range seems like the best out of all of them, but is the most expensive at almost $7k and we’d still have to buy the dishwasher and fridge.

Bluestar is nice and technically the least expensive range at $4,700 and we’d have to get a dishwasher and fridge.

We were leaning towards Kitchen aid dishwasher and fridge because we had positive experience with them before (Architect series) and they still have a nice side by side fridge. We’ve had a Samsung French door for the past 10 years and want to go back to side by side.

With all that said what would you choose?

We’re trying to figure out how much backsplash to do

Option 1 is 3 walls, upper cabinet height on the 2 side walls

Option 2 is just the one wall

3rd picture is our choice of backsplash

The black square on the left is a window above the sink. The bottom of the window is lower than the upper cabinet height

I keep reading not to buy from a big box store. How do I find reputable non-big box stores?

In my google searches of local stores there seems to be a lot of cheap stuff like ZLINE, which is repeatedly not recommended here.

Also, is Ferguson considered big box? They sell the progressional style and luxury brands around here. Is Costco considered big box in the same way as Home Depot and Lowe’s?
