Boy names with a western theme
We need all the help we can get. My fiancé is set on old timey cowboy/outlaw names, and I have a name I love but he doesn’t like it. I’m open to other names, but I dont know how to tell him I genuinely hate his name suggestions and could never name our son the names he’s suggesting. One of the names he’s set on is Boone. When I hear the name Boone I think of a dog, not a human. Any good suggestions he may be open to? I don’t like unique or out there names, but I also don’t want something super common like Luke, Jaden, etc. to give a better idea, I like Wyatt, Waylon, Hudson, and other similar names to where they’re common but not overused.
I’m trying to make it to where we’re both involved with naming him since he’s ours, and I’m having a hard time finding a nice way of saying I hate his suggestions. Maybe I’m being overdramatic but I simply can’t name our son the names he’s suggesting. Before I got pregnant, we’ve both talked about how we don’t like the out there or uncommon names so I thought it would be easier to decide on one but that’s all he’s suggesting. We’re getting to the last few weeks of the pregnancy and I’m stressing over him still not having a name.
