Currently have an application for pre approval with one of the big 4 banks. We submitted 3 weeks ago to our broker but the bank hasn’t even started reviewing it - citing Easter, the fact that we’re expats, and a large loan size.

3-4 weeks is a little nuts to hear. Wanted to check here if this tracks / sounds normal?
