Need a suggestion, I'm pretty confused.
so i bought my classic 350 during jan 2025, and since I have multiple vehicles at my home I drive the bike very less . during my 3rd service in January this year, I only had 1000kms on my bike and the workshop guys told me that I need to change my air filter and engine oil. he gave a quotation of some big amount I don't remember.
But I told him not to change the air filter as I had not rode the bike a lot. i mean as far as i know by the 3rd service people ride upto 15,000 kms so I didn't think it was necessary at that time. what ended up happening is my job cost sheet was literally zero because the guy said we can only do other things with the air filter change. he only washed my bike and nothing else , didn't even change the engine oil.
my 4th free service is coming in June, what should I do about the air filter. one of my friends suggested me to buy a air filter from outside and then get it installed, i heard brand names like engage, bmc or something. what would you guys suggest I do. this is my first bike and I'm a beginner rider. would appreciate suggestions regarding this or any other things, spark plugs etc.
