Hey everyone!
My girlfriend and I are planning a 10-day road trip in Norway this summer, in late August, starting and ending in Bergen. Here’s our current itinerary:
- Nights 1–2: Bergen
- Night 3: Balestrand
- Night 4: Olden
- Night 5: Ålesund or Runde
- Night 6: Geiranger
- Night 7: Lom (Fossbergom)
- Night 8: Flåm
We’ll be heading back to Bergen on day 10, so we still have one extra night to add somewhere.
Among the places we’ve picked so far, is there one where you would especially recommend spending an extra night, other than Bergen? Alternatively, would you suggest adding another stop somewhere between two of these destinations?
We’d also be very grateful for any general feedback on the itinerary or anything we might be missing.
