Husbands nfc tag doesn't work. Yes, I'm definitely sure. He's been pulled at multiple borders and has always has to be screened by a person, for some reason I never made the connection until trying to scan all 5 of our passports into the app with my phone for an upcoming flight. 4 of the 5 worked no problem, his does nothing. Downloaded the recommended real id checker app--nope. It's completely not scanning.

Anyone have experience with this? He's only got 2 years left on this passport. Is it worth trying to replace now or just deal with the last one or 2 trips we'll take before it needs updating?
