What if Cal got a jetpack in the third Jedi game?

Not permanent flying like Iron Man, but short controlled bursts similar to Mandalorian jetpacks. It could be used for vertical exploration, reaching hidden areas, escaping danger, or adding new movement options during combat.

The jetpack could have limited fuel, overheating, and upgrade paths to keep it balanced and grounded. Imagine combining wall running, Force abilities, and short aerial boosts during traversal or fights. It would make movement feel much more dynamic while still fitting the Jedi style.

I honestly think a mechanic like this could evolve traversal in a really fun way without losing the grounded feeling of the series No AI image this time.

I had a brilliant idea for the next game. r/FallenOrder

I had an idea for a new stance in the next Star Wars Jedi game and honestly I think it could fit Cal Kestis really well.

The stance would use a lightsaber in one hand and an energy shield in the other.

But the interesting part is that the shield would NOT have infinite energy.

The shield would absorb damage from blasters and melee attacks, but every hit would drain the battery. The shield would also contain a built-in blaster emitter, meaning the same energy source powers both defense and offense.

So the player constantly has to decide:

- Use energy to block and survive
- Or spend it attacking enemies

The more damage the shield takes, the weaker it becomes visually and mechanically until it eventually collapses and needs to recharge.

Possible abilities:
- Deflect/absorb blaster fire
- Shield dash
- Overload shot
- Energy burst after absorbing damage
- Ricochet attacks

I think it would fit the “survivor adapting during the Empire era” vibe really well and would create a very tactical playstyle compared to the existing stances.

What do you guys think?
