I can’t afford car insurance
I was laid off from my good paying job around six months ago. I was making anywhere from 4-5 grand every two weeks and my girlfriend and I were living comfortably. Since then, my circumstances have changed and I’ve been behind on the bills from not being able to find employment. I am working now and so is she, however all my finances have go towards getting caught up on the bills. I got a quote for car insurance and it was around 600 dollars, that’s almost what I pay in rent each month. Now yes I do have tickets, speeding tickets specifically, but at the moment I cannot afford to insure my car. I work around 30 minutes away and there is not job close to me that plays remotely the same. Does anyone have any advice? Please be nice
