I get it - you grind for 2 years at 80hrs a week and the name behind mbb is supposed to give you whatever you want. I’ve just passed my first year, and I just don’t understand how I can be competitive for such senior positions with only 2 years and basically being 25. I genuinely think I’m capable - when I work with my middle age middle management client counterparts I’m reminded that I could do their job. But I’m struggling to find confidence in myself there. Are yall just applying to senior manager level roles and ignoring the “7+ years of experience” requirement? How are you getting recruited for that??
