I hope this isn’t a stupid question but I’ve always loved history and literature, I wanted to look into archiving at a library somewhere but it seems you need to have a good bit of education and experience under your belt. Would I be able to work my way into an archiving position from an entry level position without going to school, or is that not possible? I currently work at a bank in my hometown and moving up is fairly common and easy as long as you show the drive to learn. I’m not sure how it works in other fields but just wanted to know, thanks!!
