I don’t know if I’m being difficult or if the refurbisher is trying to lowball me. I filled in the description for the phone per BackMarket’s guidelines but the seller has made up three different excuses as to why the phone is worth less than initially offered whenever I disprove the previous one.

I feel like the issues with the screen were accounted for when I said the screen was cracked even though it is intact, so reducing the price is penalizing me twice for the same thing. BackMarket describes a used phone as having no dead spots or ghost touch so I marked it as cracked to account for that. They also claimed that the buttons were broken but their own report states otherwise. The next excuse was that the housing is broken so the phone is not “good” but I never classified it as good I said it was “cracked.” They then tried to claim the phone is not fully functional because Touch ID is not working but iPhone 12 does not have Touch ID to my knowledge.

I don’t like to be difficult, I would have accepted the offer if it was not half the initial one but it seems like the refurbisher is being unfair.

I contacted support yesterday. Idk if to wait and see what they say or just reject the offer now and move on
