Napakafeeling entitled ng most ng mga scholars, to the point na nakakainis na. Like oo, gets, matagal dumating yung stipend and if yun lang yung primary source of sustenance mo, magugutom ka talaga.

The thing is, the DOST scholarship is meant to be financial ASSISTANCE ONLY. At the end of the day, parent/s niyo ang DAPAT na nagpoprovide sa inyo. DOST stipend is meant to help you pay for your other school-related fees (like dorm, daily food and transpo ng student, ambagan for group activities, etc.) -- DOST is NOT meant na magprovide sa buong pamilya niyo.

Tinulungan na nga kayo during college days, spoonfed pa rin gusto hanggang after graduation?? Learn to do some research, DOST scholar pa man din kayo.

Uhm...DOST is one of the most cleanest government agencies, for pete's sake.

So, I turned 23 this month. I have managed to have some savings through my scholarships and frugality even if I now have work. As for EF, I have saved up a hundred thousand for it, and I have a little extra now.

And as a way to celebrate my birthmonth, I just did my MP2 inital deposit today amounting to 500 pesos (because it's my first time and I don't know when will it reflect and I'm a bit scared honestly to spend because of my scarcity complex and idk if I did the deposit right so it's a trial). But I'm just so happy I managed to do it now.

Once I managed to see the transaction posted in my account (which might take a week according to google lels my anxiety is shaking), I'm planning to put up 50k as my second deposit, then put 2k every kinsenas. But I will deposit that 50k at the end week of May because I'll be growing it first in my Maribank. Am I doing it rightt?
