what is this?
im male, 22. my throat has been hurting a lot since last week. i’ve had ceftriaxone injected four times and benzylpenicillin once. it’s really painful and swallowing is the worst part, i can barely do it.
does anyone know what it is? my dr has ordered multiple tests because she isn’t sure what it is. she told me if it could be some viral and bacterial infection at the same time or an std like throat gonorrhea. i had unprotected oral sex two weeks ago, so i’m wondering if thats a possibility. she told me i can’t get tested for an std right know because i’ve already got several antibiotics and the results won’t come out as they should. has anyone got something that looks similar or know what it is, its been almost 10 days and im desperate, please help.
