I've got this space in my basement under the stairs where we keep the cats' litters. My fiancé and I thought about keeping it as a storage space but wondered if it could be more? Or rather, if it could simply look better AS a storage space?

What do you think?

Another option, perhaps, could be to put a sliding door with a cat entryway for litter access? (Is a sliding door even possible considering the irregular triangle opening?)
