I built a small extension for Copilot CLI: https://github.com/Rogn/copilot-cli-agent-observer

It opens a live observer window so you can see what’s going on while Copilot is working. It will show subagents, tool calls, messages, timings etc.

It does require the Copilot CLI experimental flag to be enabled.
It was inspired by this sample by Steve Sanderson: https://github.com/SteveSandersonMS/copilot-webview-creator

It’s read-only, so it doesn’t interfere with what the agent does.
