NPD Pilot lover
I have to say I’m in love with Pilot. Today after waiting for some weeks of shipping because is not easy to get this or other fountain pens in Mexico for a reasonable price I am finally getting one of my grails in my collection.
Pilot custom 823 <M> amber. I was super worried if the M was going to be a good size for my handwriting because I read a lot of discussions on Reddit about it being too wide and a lot of different photos making me confused, but thanks god this is just the perfect size for me and it is sooo smooth that it feels just perfect while writing. I’m impressed of how good well finished is this pen.
And well, to ink it I get a small bottle of iroshizuku yama budo to match my new 823, tried (dip test) but I didn’t love the color, then I investigated a little bit and I saw the Yama guri as an option so I take my motorcycle and I ride to the store then I saw this legendary Iroshizuku Tsukushi for sale, which all the people is saying just good things about it and that it is discontinued. When I saw it in the store I didn’t hesitate to purchase the big bottle.
Today it was a good day 😊
