Carmax leased me a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse in 2025. 4mos. After the left caliper went out. 1 yr. Later the transmission blew out. Adter using REPAIRPAL they're service to direct me to an appropriately covered auto shop. The shop kept the car for 3mos. MAXCARE (ASSURANCE WARRANTY) would only pay for a 3rd party EBAY used transmission. Completely refused to buy a new transmission that was covered under the extended warranty. The auto shop told me after they installed the used transmission and reprogrammed it 3 times. They cant fix the computer codes that continue to poor out of the car. I got a diagnostic from a CHEVROLET dealership and they said I need to replace the transmission. Then, MAXCARE said I had to take the car back to the same auto shop. Where it sat for 2 weeks without a call, declaration of service or any response. I started calling back and forth on the third day. Now, the auto shop states they can not fix the problem. MAXCARE will not fix the car any more because of the transmission warranty. The car shakes, stutters and acts like it will cut off at any moment. I spent a total of 1200 on transportation fees. Not to mention the forced days off. This is my sixth car. Worst experience of my life. Now, I have to sell and get another in less than 18mos. CARMAX, MAXCARE (ASSURANCE WARRANTY) REPAIRPAL are all NIGHTMARES, BEWARE!
