The talent of this Exotic Shotgun is "Melee attacks Instantly Kills non Elite enemies" where it have a damage cap of i think around 100m but the issue in escalation in higher tiers is that NPC have way more health and armor than this where its talent fail to eliminate them. Even the non elite NPC's who have the damage reduction only takes around just 20% damage to their armor or health.

This thing needs to get fixed as its clearly making the talent not working properly in this game mode which is clearly unintended.

If Dev can fix the unintended loot dropping from box as Priority, this also needs to be fixed ASAP in next update as priority.

The token system in escalation mode is very poorly implemented in this game.

I am making this post because devs have recently removed the proto gear dropping from cache which should be not a priority in the currentstate of escalation, now they did it now, they need to focus there vision on improving this mode rather than nerfing the non prioritiy things first.

First of all the token system in an online game does not make sense in the the current state but as you know it is still implementated poorly.

Why because once you used your tokens, they are gone and only way to get them back is completing the mission.

If the server fails like recently happened where everyone was not able to login or got kicked out of mid game, the tokens were lost.

If the mission bugs out or any npc got stuck in any unaccessible area, there is no way to complete them and only way is wiping out.

I witnessed this 2 times recently in pentagon where the mission bugged and there was no npc spawn, no objective and our group was stuck there, we had wipe out by using grenades to restart it.

It was just complete blank and we cant do anything there, you can't even leave the mission or interact with social menu in current state

My all tokens invested at that time were lost.

Also the return we get after investing is also very low.

For tier 5, you invest 20 token and get 24 after completing, means only 4 profit for you n completion, group will get 7.

On tier 10, 87 tokens and you get 94 in return makes it to only 7 profit for you but 25 for group profit.

I will really not take any risk of spending 87 tokens just to get the server kick us out of game or getting a delta in mid mission.

As you take the risk of investing token, you still didn't get a good profit value

If anything goes wrong where it is not your mistake like delta disconnection or mission bugged out, you are guaranteed to lose the 87 tokens at that time if playing on tier 10.

To earn that 87 tokens, i have to play the escalation mode 22 time on tier 5 or 13 times on tier 10 to fulfill the lose which i think is a pretty bad idea.

In this all issues you have rogue agents with mutators abilities where fighting them and defeating them is only possible if you are lucky at that time, most of the time it will be a wipe as they will rush you and their overpowered skills will kill you easily on higher tier.

You will lose the tokens here if you wipe out, no return here.

So here the key points for some of the changes that need to be improved with the token system too

  1. Reduce the token costs when playing higher tier like tier 5+
  2. The profit to host of spending tokens should be doubled (invest 25 = 50 profit)

3.Remove the rogue agents from escalation, you know they should not belong here.

Like i said above, You have changed the loot boxes dropping proto type gear which should not be a priority in current state of escalation but still you did it ignoring all the other issue here in this mode, if you can change this, you can do these changes too devs.

  1. The social menu can't be interacted right now in escalation, this should be on a priority to get fixed.

  2. Build diversity is non existence in escalation, only striker/tipping scales or full dps wuth a healer & birdies exotic backpack is viable, the mutator thing is also implemented poorly which killed the build diversity in this mode.

You cant use CC build as npc are immune to status effect.

You cant use a tank build because someone though having a modifier where npc regenerate health & armor based on your armor will be a challenge.

You cant use any skill build as turret is useless on higher tier, npc can destroy it in seconds by their bullets .Skills like striker drone, seeker mine, mortar turret will be get destroyed instantly because they have an emp modifier arround them.

Sniper is also useless because npc have so much armor and health that you can't finish them with headshot.

Protection from elites feels like a squashy & useless in higher tiers too.

Either rework the mutators abilites to make more build diverties works here

  1. Hotfoot modifier in cover based game make no sense, if there is shock only, it can be counter by using hazard protection or tactician skill ability making you immune to shock and emp where you within a range of deployed skill.

The damage is what badly implementated here which need to be removed, you know the bar still does not function properly giving you shock and damage.

Most of the players does not even bother to go tier 6+ because if this modifier.

Moving inside a cover does not lower it down many times causing the shock and damage to you.

Either make this modifers or mutators optional for having increase chance of getting prototype drops which will makes this game play more attractive to players who doesn't want to play with these modifiers or remove the damage.

  1. Remove the tokens system for entry if possible, make it to currency and give us an exlusive vendor like countdown where players can by escalation exclusive stuff like protype gear or prototype core cache.

Imagine countdown having token system like this, how badly it will get a that time

A lot of players still play this mode because there is no token system and you get currency in reward to buy items from its vendor

every thing above regarding tokens will be not valid if this applied here.

  1. The drop rate is improved as compared to previous update but that was viable as players were getting it drop from loot boxes too.

I played the zoo mission on tier 5, for first time i got 15 prototype gear because of loot boxes

Second run, only 2 prototype

Third run only 4 prototype dropped from npc.

The drops i got were trash too, not a single piece was usable, most of them have rainbow rolls or bad roll like health, status effect on an offensive brand or gear set

I farmed 82 prototype gear in 10 hours yesterday and only 1 piece was viable to use, 81 was literally so badly rolled i deconstructed them

Fix it devs before you wipe the playerbase of this game again, this game needs to be good, not frustrating.

What are your opinion on this and what you thing should be adjusted.

Edit - One more thing to mention is removal of timer from escalation or increase it with current tier.

you have the same 60 minute time on tier 0 & tier 10.

for example, missions like zoo and art museum, its literally impossible to do this under 1 hour on a 4 man group on tier 10 because of the length of mission and npc spawns.
