Reading Manto

I'm new to Urdu literature and I've been reading Manto's afsana collections, and while I can follow the surface level story, I'm struggling to get the deeper point. I understand what happens, but not always why it matters or what Manto is trying to say.

I've searched for analytical essays, video lectures, or critical discussions that break down his stories, but I'm only finding resources on his most famous works. I want to understand his other afsanas too the techniques the social commentary, the symbolism.
I'm looking for Literary analysis or criticism (in Urdu or English), Video lectures or podcasts that discuss his themes and techniques, Books about Manto's work (not just biographies, but actual literary criticism)

Any guidance on how to approach his stories as a beginner. I feel like I'm missing a whole layer of meaning. Even recommendations for general Urdu literary criticism resources would be helpful.
