Is it possible to jump into the middle of a GPX route or do you always need to start from the beginning?

Using a 3000+ point route where I want to skip some parts that got less pokestops and few Pokemon's :-)

I'm using a rooted setup with Ninja apps GPS joystick and Pokemod.
