Idea of Good Value for this Rug?

I'm interested in buying a rug and came across this Heriz from a dealer. I think the rug is very nice but I did notice some dye run off into the fringes. I've also added pictures along one side showing variations in the color from one end to the other. One side is definitely more faded. For a vintage Heriz like this what's a reasonable price? Thoughts on the quality? My other option is buying a new Afghani rug direct from Afghanistan that is made of ghazni wool. My hesitation with that is that I can't see the rug in person before purchasing.
