Finished Spanish Section 2. Weekly progress update

Hey, everyone. So, at the start of the week I felt tired of studying, but then somehow managed to achieve both of my goals for this week on Friday. Spanish Section 2 is done, and so is Music Section 3. I had trouble with the song in unit 41, for some reason it took me several days to be able to play it right. Overall spent about 13 hours on Duo.

Now I'd like to get through Spanish Section 3 in six weeks, which means doing five units each week.

The last section of the Music course has 132 units. To be done with it by the end of the year I need to do 4 units a week.

And I'm starting the Korean course.

So, the goal for the next week is to observe how well I'll be able to jungle these three courses, and adjust accordingly. Thank you for reading, I just like to report how I'm doing for additional motivation, and hope that you are entertained by it.

The main character in mini games stopped speaking aloud, bring back speaking

Lately I've been noticing that in mini games the main character (the one I'm supposed to help) doesn't speak aloud anymore. In this example I was helping Lucy. This change is for the worse for several reasons:

  1. There's twice less listening practice because of it.
  2. When I choose the right answer, it lights up green and quickly disappears. If there's a word I don't know yet, I can't see the translation. Before this the right answer went to hover above the character's head, so I could click on the unknown word to translate it. So here I could click on "abuela", but in Lucy's answer I wanted to check what "venir" means, but couldn't! This is a robbery!
  3. If this change is meant to make me say the right answer aloud instead of Lucy, it doesn't make much sense. I'm supposed to help Lucy, not become Lucy (I repeat what they all say anyway). I want to hear her voice, not the silence that just makes the game less fun.

70 days of learning Spanish (my streak is 75 days, I started with music).

This is my second week in Diamond league, got the badge, it's fun to have it. After this I don't really care about staying on top.

Doing only the main path, I went from the score 18 to 19 this week, and upped my legendary from 13 to 14. I've spent about 12 and a half hours on it.

Next week I hope to get to the score 20, and thus finish section 2 of Spanish. Plus, I hope to finish the last 6 units of section 3 in Music.

Wishing you all strong memory and good language retention next week.
