So, basically I had this relocation process going on for which I had an HR round to discuss the salary package along with the benefits. I was expecting a slightly higher ranger than the one that the HR actually offered to me.

Also, before this HR round I had already checked with the manager if my expectations were correct to which he also agreed.

Now, when I tried negotiating for the salary, the HR just asked me to check with the manager and that the salary can be updated if he tells the HR for it. Also, I knew about the AWS thing where you get one month extra salary basically Annual Salary = MonthlySalary×13, but the HR said that it's something they don't provide.

I checked with the manager for salary negotiation to which he said that it's HR's job and he can't discuss the negotiation with me and if he were to check with his boss for approval of my package, that may significantly impact my relocation process, i.e., it can either be approved or even be cancelled completely.

Can you guys please suggest as to what's right and what's not and if I should just accept the current offer or just try negotiating a bit?
