Brown's Permanently Closing

I have no idea why the university did not make a formal announcement on this, but I wanted to come on here to let y'all know.

I work at Brown's and us student workers only found out through the word of the full time staff. They only recently announced it to the rest of the Berkeley Dining units on Thursday since we had our end of the year party. Apparently its because next semester they are opening the new building (gateway) so they are shutting us down to renovate and turn it into something completely new (they mentioned possibility of a sushi place? but idk)

The last official day of Brown's ever being open is Wed. 5/13 since its closing for the union strike Thursday and Friday, so PLEASEEE come support us and get your last fills of a Brown's lunch or breakfast plate before its gone for good!!
