I haven't seen many people talk about this, but it seems like the voicelines you hear from the patrons aren't actually from the patrons? I know it's common for godly figures to refer to themselves in the third person (King of All Cosmos from Katamari), but there are some lines that indicate that whoever is talking is talking to/for the respective patrons. Especially interesting that the Amber Hand/Sapphire Flame both usually talked in the first person. So if this is the case... who are the announcers?

Reposting from Tip of My Tongue My father used to work at a DVD store and would bring a few home for me to watch. One of them was a collection for this anime called s-CRY-ed, but that's not what I'm thinking of. I believe among the s-CRY-ed DVDs was this 60s era cartoon that I can't for the life of me remember. It looked incredibly similar to Hanna Barbera's Top Cat, but I know it wasn't Top Cat. The main character was a cat that had a very similar personality to like, Peppino or Courage, and would get himself into trouble. He must have had some sort of pilot friend, as the one scene I vividly remember from it was both of them in a plane together while it flies with the propeller facing straight up (like the cel was rotated to have it positioned like this). It zooms in on the main character and he turns to the camera and says something like "this cat's gotta splat!"' I'm not 100% sure it was "splat" but it was some rhyming word. This must have been his catch phrase as I remember him saying it multiple times. Looking for the phrase online yielded no results, so I figured this would be the next best place to look.

Hi, back again. The post I made about Jibberboosh made me think of other shows from my youth that I scant remember. My father used to work at a DVD store and would bring a few home for me to watch. I'm remembering a kids show I saw about 15-20 years ago at my grandmother's. She had a collection of DVDs, one of them being this kids show I can't remember for the life of me what it was called. From what I can recall, it was not dissimilar to the Banana Splits, but it was a room full of children and one costumed actor. I believe they had to summon him from a closet by saying his name three times, but I can't in good faith repeat it because I think it contains a slur. It was the first part of the character's name repeated 3 times, followed by the second half repeated 3 times (which I think was "boosh, boosh, boosh"). I can't quite remember what the show was about, but I think there were brief animated segments in between them, I think like Bear in the Big Blue House? If it helps, I was born in 2002, and I remember seeing this DVD since I was at least 4-6 years old. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know.
