May I please get some insights on both courses from existing students / incoming students, I am in so much dilemma and not sure what to pick.

NUS: Curriculum sounds balanced and structured
SMU: 2nd Major guaranteed, small class room size, nearer to home, mods sound good too esp with the electives we can pick (can pick across the diff schools as well i think)

also could any kind souls share the NUS SOC open house brochure with me? I did not have a chance to attend the open house.

I am very curious as to why handshakes are avoided during the graduation ceremonies. Saw someone tried to shake hand but the director refused. Is there a particular reason ? Why they dont shake, please let me know thanks!
