Does anyone know what happened to all the koi fish at the Botanical Gardens in the Japanese Garden area? The pond used to be filled mostly with huge koi fish and a few turtles. Today when I was there, I only saw two of the medium sized koi. There were a ton of turtles, a different kind of fish that I don’t know by name, and even a little crane, but almost no koi. I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened to them. Did they get sick or maybe sold or rehomed because they had gotten too big?
