I have a female Akita who is 5 years old. About a month/two months ago I saw she had lots of eye buggers and after cleaning them her skin was visibly irritated. I’ve tried some at home remedies and it seems to get better and then it goes back to this. It hasn’t gotten worse, she also doesn’t seem to be in pain. I clean it and she’s fine, she doesn’t wine or whimper. Today I learned about Uveodermatologic Syndrome (VHK) and I’m extra worried but it’s been at least a month and it hasn’t gotten worse, which I assume it would by now with VHK?
