I got my FT offer before graduation!!🥳

I’m about to graduate in a week with a bachelor's degree in computer science, and I finally received the FT analyst offer I needed in order to have peace of mind at graduation!!🥳🎉

I was starting to panic two semesters before graduation and made a sprint to go through as many interviews as possible, so that I could secure something either before graduation or not long after. I won’t lie, the number one thing that helped me was mastering saying everything but nothing at the same time (Basically using many buzz words associated with that topic to get to the main point).

Strangely enough, I sounded smarter when I did that, and with the more experience I got interviewing, the better my corporate jargon got. This job market sucks, and the interviewing process sucks even more, but it’s definitely possible that you just have to keep going and don’t stop believing there’s a job out there for you.

I’m not sure why, but I feel like things turned around for me in the month of April. After that, my resume was pulling the attention of early career recruiters, and I ended up with 2 other offers besides the one I went with. I can only thank God that I get to graduate without worrying about the next step!!

If I started all over, I would definitely sharpen up my communication skills and practice common interview questions as much as possible so that I’m not caught off guard when I have my first interview. That big break can happen at any time, and when it does, you NEED to be prepared and know how to nail the interview when it comes. I wish everyone who’s actively job seeking the best of luck, and I can share any tips that might be helpful.

I’ve been watching people post about receiving job offers in here, and I’m extremely happy and relieved that I get to post my own before graduation :)!🥹🎉
