HELP ME FIND EXTRACURRICULARS + GIVE ADVICE PLSSSS

Background: I have attended 13 different schools due to family relocation. In 2020, we moved to India; last year, I moved back to the US entirely alone to pursue my education. I currently live with relatives in a high-pressure, unsupportive environment. I dealt with a severe mental health downfall this year due to isolation and family separation. Because my family made so many sacrifices, I really need to get into a top college, or else it'll seem like everything I did was a waste of money...

  1. I hit a wall with my mental health due to my living situation and moving across the world alone. How much will a "C" in Accelerated Algebra 2 hurt for MIT/T10 if my Dual Enrollment and other grades are all As?
  2. How do I best explain my background (India move, solo return to US) in the "Additional Info" section without it sounding like an excuse for the Sophomore dip?
  3. I don't have a formal program this summer since I only applied to completely free programs which were competitive and prioritized juniors (i got rejected from all). Should I double down on my research internship or try to find something new to distract me from the GPA?
  4. With this profile, am I still a realistic candidate for T10s if I pull off a 4.0 Junior year?
  5. WHAT CAN I DO??? I need better extracurriculars and currently am leaning towards environmental science with like advocacy.

i’m interested in environmental science and am a sophomore in high school currently. i’ve researched at uc berkeley last summer under the earth and planetary science department but i feel behind and like i’m not doing enough. i don’t have anything planned for this summer so what could i do 😭 i have a somewhat unique backstory but other than that i feel like there’s nothing special and i have a content feeling that i’m pulled back

i realized how caught up we all are in our daily lives that even the slightest things feel like huge tragedies and i want to know what people consider a huge regret. if we take a step back and look at our life in retrospect it’s actually quite hilarious.
