I'm suddenly having trouble with my Fluval 307 canister filter. I've had it for about 6 months now and never had a problem before; it worked great. Well, it worked great up until last week when I found a lot of aquarium water soaking into my carpet.
There is a persistent leak occurring around the seal between the canister and the top portion of the device. I've tried several troubleshooting steps:
\-Replaced (and lubricated) the o-ring
\-Cleaned the entire filter, including media and sponges, and replaced phosphate and quick clear filters.
\-Made sure everything was seated all the way into the canister
\-Reduced flow
I'm stumped. Has anyone dealt with this before and know how I can fix this?
ETA: The gasket lubrication and replacement were performed today
