Hi, I’m trying to avoid huge billionaire run businesses, what are your favorite small businesses around here? Not necessarily just locally owned, but alternatives to the big conglomerates like Walmart, Target, Amazon, giant, etc. thanks!
Are people actually doing this or is it an internet thing? And more importantly, I feel like a vastly better alternative at least in the shopping part of it would be to spread information about locally owned, or at least non-massive conglomerate, stores to frequent instead so that the little guy won’t go out of business, seeing as they’re not the ones we’re trying to affect. Thoughts? I hate the idea of a mom and pop store going out of business as we try to hit the pockets of the billionaires.
