Hi i have 90% booked my TMB for late July and have a hut/hotel at each stage other than La Fouly.

My plan is

• Thurs: Rigfugio Bonatti (booked) to La Fouly (no accomodation here)
• Friday: La fouly to Champex Lac (chalet la grange booked)

There is no availability on the central booking site which I am checking daily, how likely is there to be a cancellation in one of these options?

There is also v minimal availability in Praz de Fort and Orsières, i have found 2 potential options but not sure how practical they are but also conscious i would rather get a back up booked in. Does anyone have any ideas about these 2 places if they are convenient to get a bus to and from for the next day to continue the TMB?

Hi! i am booking my first solo hiking trip in late June and wanted some advice RE itinerary as im getting a bit confused at all the options so i wanted to get a review of this plan:

day 1: Fly to geneva, transfer to chamonix and find chamonix hostel

day 2: Les Houches to Les Contamines. Need to find accom on this day but struggling with no availability in Nant Borrant, ?gite le pontet/auberge de truc?

day 3: Les contamines to Croix du bonhomme (booking secured)

day 4: Croix du bonhomme to courmayeur: Need accom on this day

day 5: Courmayeur to Rifugio Bonatti (booking secured)

day 6: Rifugio Bonatti to La Fouly Need to find accom on this day but struggling with no availability in Auberge des Glaciers, gite maya joie and Edelweiss- any advice for this?

day 7: La fouly to Champex-lac: need accom for this day

day 8: Champex to Trient: Need to find accom on this day but struggling with no availability in Auberge du Mont blanc. any advice/alternatives?

day 9: Trient to Chamonix

day 10: Chamonix rest day

day 11: Transfer to Geneva and fly home in morning

I am a solo female on my first trip (ive done patagonia previously so have hiking experience but not on my own so hoping for safe and social atmosphere :) Any tips/advice on this itinerary would be amazing! Thank you!
