I've been using iPhone PDF scanning apps for a decade and especially appreciate ones that can automatically crop, perceiving the edges of a page. At different points in time, I've used Scanner Pro, CamScanner, and (now) TurboScan.

I have, not exaggerating, tens of thousands of old jpegs that I'd like to convert into PDF documents. Is there a desktop conversion app that has good edge detection?

If it's especially reliable, I could switch to the iPhone camera and deal with all the document conversion steps when I'm not in the archive. The apps have been invaluable, but none of them has quite been infallible.
