Hi everyone, I’m a medical student from Taiwan participating in the IFMSA SCORE exchange program with Brazil.

The deadline for multiple applications has already passed(I plan to do the lab exchange at 7.1-7.31), but I STILL haven’t received my official acceptance certification/card from the hosting country. I already booked my flights, prepared all my documents, and planned everything for months because I truly believed this exchange was confirmed.

I’ve tried emailing and sending DMs, but I honestly feel lost, anxious, and emotionally exhausted at this point.

Has anyone experienced delayed IFMSA acceptance documents before? What should I do now? Is this normal, or should I be seriously worried? Any advice would really help 😓
