How did you push yourself through recovery?

Im 18F , I wasn't diagnosed with anorexia nervosa however I do have an ARFID diagnosis (restrictive eating disorder common with neurodivergence) and I used to be very underweight for half my life pretty much

Im still slightly underweight, but as ive gained weight, negative feelings about my body have started to consume my thoughts :( im starting to feel conflicted on pushing myself to gain even more

I feel like ive mostly gained fat in my stomach/waist area, and ive researched that this will redistrubute later but im struggling with it regardless

I hope im not breaking any rules with this post🥹I want to keep recovering but ive never had body image issues until now, I would really appreciate motivation and if you were in a similar situation id love to hear what helped you🫶

Im 18F, 44kg and 5'3, I'm a bit underweight but I am working on gaining fat through eating more. I would like to keep gaining weight however my muscle percentage is extremely low and I am very weak

I have no idea how to start gaining muscle. I'm chronically ill & my school attendance is horrible, even going to school for 1 day a week (where my activity is very minimal) my muscles will hurt a lot the next day (as if ive done a much bigger workout than...simply going to school)

I'm unable to do a pushup, unable to do a situp, even walking for over 30 minutes makes my legs hurt

I do have two 8lb and two 5lb dumbells at home

I dont know the name of most exercises so it's hard for me to say what I can and can't do

Even when i can manage to do some stuff my body just lowkey collapses after doing it once

(I used to be more underweight, but my doctors now allow me to be more active if I wish)
